Who needs a themepark when you have Buccees. Famous all over the USA when thinking about Texas, Buccees has signs near the highway hundreds of miles away from a location. Over a hundred pumps for gas and many toilets to choose from.

This is great, so much choice, there’s no chance you have to stand next to someone else.
We didn’t really plan this visit and only got some softdrinks and ice-cream, but even those were special. Our softdrinks were made with real cane sugar and our ice-cream was made with real fruit, we chose one with mango and strawberries.
A small update about the dog bite I received about three days ago, it looks badly bruised but doesn’t hurt too much. Hopefully it will heal soon!

Also the weather feels like summer, way warmer than last year when it was almost freezing. Today was 24° C, which is about 75° F if I’m remembering correctly. It doesn’t even get this warm in summer most days in Amsterdam, this was a warm welcome for sure.
