I always enjoy reading the stories my mother wrote when she traveled all around the world, seeing three countries in one week or a quiet Sunday lunch at her favourite spot in Amsterdam with one of her sisters.
Right now it’s the first day of January 2023 and I’d like to do the same, write something small about what I did today. Normally I just drive for work and go to sleep, but this year I’m planning to travel a bit more, like right now I’m far away nearby Dallas, TX.
I helped fix the plumbing of a big trailer, the old plumbing froze and bursted open, leaving us without clean water, we use bottled water to wash our hands and brush our teeth, we do have the opportunity to shower twice a week at the neighbor, but hopefully after fixing everything today we won’t have to anymore!
